Relocation Ceremony

New Home Care, a home care service company dedicated to the elderly and known for its philanthropic efforts in Sydney, officially relocated its headquarters from 99 York St, Sydney to Shop 25, 160 Rowe St, Eastwood on May 21, 2024.

Registered in 2016, New Home Care has been serving the Chinese community since 2020. Under the leadership of Mr David Kim, and Ms Jingnan Zhang, the company has grown significantly.

To better assist seniors from Korean and Chinese cultural backgrounds, New Home Care decided to establish its base in Eastwood. The move was warmly welcomed by various local personalities. On the day of the relocation celebration, City of Ryde Mayor Trenton Brown and Councillor Penelope (Penny) Pederson attended and gave enthusiastic speeches. Steve, the general manager of the 76-year-old Eastwood Club, along with representatives from surrounding businesses, were also present to congratulate the relocation ceremony. Other notable attendees included Victor Yang, the owner representative of Eastwood Plaza; Joey Chan, president of the Eastwood Chinese Senior Citizens Club; Justin Chan, president of the Dongguan Association and Dongguan Chamber of Commerce; Lin Gang, president of the Australian Xiao Hong Mao Tourism Culture Incorporated; Yang Ximing, vice chairman of the Australian Xiao Hong Mao Tourism Culture Incorporated; Xu Zhongyi, vice principal of Sydney Seniors University; Mr. Gao Guojun, president of the Zhongshan Association; Ms. He Qiong, representative of the Georges River Association Services Ltd ; and members of the Siyi Association. Dr. Hye Young Woo, Ph.D. Head of School and Dean of Alphacrucis University from the Korean community, also gave a speech. The first Chinese client of New Home Care, 94-year-old Ms. Wang Wanxiang, and our important client Ms Kyong Bun Cho expressed their gratitude on behalf of the clients for the company’s thoughtful and considerate services. Several caregivers also participated in the event. The celebration was meticulously organized, showcasing the diligent, serious, and cooperative team spirit of all New Home Care employees. Additionally, a Korean community drum team BongBong attended the celebration in festive attire, and their spectacular performance was met with cheers and applause from the audience.

New Home Care aims not only to provide high-quality daily home care, travel, and health services for the elderly, along with free consultation and disability services, but also to develop more activities beneficial to the physical and mental health of seniors.
